The Vula Mission

At Vula, we believe that fashion should be both stylish and sustainable. As a unique hybrid retail store, we serve Whistler and its neighbouring communities, curating one-of-a-kind vintage pieces alongside modern clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Our aim is to provide a diverse selection of products to the local market

at more affordable prices than those currently offered in Whistler.

Vula collaborates with Vancouver factories where millions of tonnes of discarded textiles end up in landfills. Each week, our team personally hand picks and purchases hundreds of pounds of clothing and accessories for reuse. To date we have saved almost 60,000lbs of textiles from landfills and we regularly stock hundreds of new pieces in our store.

Vula means to “open” or “turn on”. Through both education and our product offerings, we want to open our customers' minds and turn them on to a more sustainable way of shopping and living.
